To change your player model / skin, you need 1 thing:

You are new to Garry's Mod and you don't know how to change your player model / skin? I'll show you how to change it!

Hold C then click "Player Model" — While in-game, hold
C
to bring up the context menu, then click
Player Model
icon to open the player model menu.

Choose a new player model — Choose a new player model just by clicking the icons at the right of the screen. At the left part of the screen you can see a preview of the player model / skin.

Kill yourself in the game

Your new player model will be updated only after you respawned. So to respawn immediately and have your new player model, type

kill

in console (

Shift

+

Esc

to open console) or just suicide in the game using grenades or rocket launcher.

That's it! Now you have changed your player model / skin!

If you want to see how you look like, just spawn a chair from "vehicles" tab, sit on it by pressing
E
, then press
Ctrl
to switch to third person view so you can see yourself and move the camera around you!
