90% of skin cancers are caused by sun overexposure. So be careful, especially if you have a light skin color.
Always remember to use some sunscreen to reduce risks!
Take a bit of sun on a daily basis is recommended though, to get vitamin D for example.

Control your body weight
Obesity (and inactivity) is the origin of almost 35% of death by cancer. Try to keep your body at a reasonable weight.
Human body needs a minimum amount of fat though, to ensure a good functioning, but too much unnecessary fat can put your body in danger. To reduce obesity, sport and healthy diet are recommended.

Limit your meat consumption
Red meat and certain types of meat may raise probability of developing a breast cancer, bowel cancer and pancreas cancer.
So be careful to not eat too much red meat, ham, bacon and sausage.
Continue to eat a minimum of meat (and fish) to ensure a good functioning of your body

Eat more fruits and vegetables, fish...
Eating more fruits and vegetables can considerably reduce risk of developing a cancer!
Eat more fruits, for example: ● apple is good against lungs cancer, colon and prostate cancer ● banana is good against kidneys cancer ● grapes is good against breast cancer ● strawberry, raspberry (red fruits in general) and mango may be good against certains cancers, but watermelon, orange too.
Eat more vegetables, for example: ● avocado may be good against certain cancers ● broccoli and cabbage are good against colon cancer, lung & prostate cancer, and others. ● tomato may be good against certain cancers ● Green vegetables in general (salad, spinach etc.) are a good way to protect yourself against cancers.
Coffee may be good against liver cancer. Fish could be good against cancer too.

Do more physical activity
Inactivity is causing almost 35% of deaths by cancer. Inactivity makes your immune system weak and leads to obesity.
So do more physical activities to reduce risk of getting a cancer.
● Do equivalent of 30 minutes of fast walking, per day ● Take the stairs instead of elevator ● Walk the dog out and take the opportunity to walk ● Ride a bike, for example go buy little things using your bike instead of using your car ● If you work in a sit-down position, on your computer for example, you can work while standing up by using a raised desk

Avoid alcohol / reduce alcohol consumption
Alcohol is known to favor liver cancers, mouth, trachea and esophagus cancers.
So limit your alcohol consumption. Furthermore, the more you drink alcohol, the more you need to drink some, and so on...

Don't smoke / quit smoking
80% of lung cancers are caused by smoking. But smoking can lead to a stomach cancer too. So it's heavily recommended to stop smoking if you do!
