📊 There is lots of different brands, flavors, nicotine levels (mg/ml), VG/PG ratios available, so it can be difficult to know which e-liquid is perfect for you.
Nicotine level, VG / PG etc. will be explained here so you can know which e-juice to buy!

Here are the main nicotine level you can find on the market:
• 0mg ► No nicotine at all
• 3mg ► Low nicotine
• 6mg ► Middle nicotine level
• 11mg / 12mg ► Pretty high nicotine level
• 16mg / 18mg / 20mg ► Maximum nicotine level
📊 How do you know which nicotine concentration is good for you?
I would say it depends if you smoke regular cigarettes (and trying to stop smoking), and how much cigarettes you smoke / used to smoke per day.
🔴 If you are a heavy smoker i would suggest to get e-liquids between 11mg and 20mg of nicotine. Then few weeks later, try to lower the nicotine level step by step to like 6mg if possible
🔘 If you're a "normal" / average smoker you can try between 6mg and 12mg of nicotine (or higher if it's not enough).
🔵 If you are a light smoker you can use 3 mg or 6 mg of nicotine. Or even 1.5 mg if you can find one of those.
🚭 And if you don't smoke cigarettes, i would suggest the 0mg nicotine, or 3mg maximum

But there is hundreds of flavors available
Personally, i started vaping with menthol flavor as i enjoyed smoking menthol cigarettes. I tried tobacco flavor but i personally didn't like it very much (it was more like some kind of chocolate flavor), but maybe i should retry with a different eJuice brand...
So i would suggest to try one small bottle (10ml) of Tobacco, then if you don't like it, just buy some mint eLiquid and mix it up with the tobacco liquid so you don't waste it
Then try fruits eJuices like those:
🍓 Strawberry
🍌 Banana
🍏 Apple
🍋 Lemon
🍊 Orange
But these are just few example of eJuices flavors you can find.
Sometimes you dont see clearly the flavor of the eJuices as you just see some unusual name on it. In this case, just look up the eJuice's name on google.com and you should see the flavor(s) behind the name of the eJuice

It's something useful especially for smokers, because without this effect, it feels like you're inhaling nothing (like inhaling a not lighten up cigarette).
So how do you choose the right throat hit level?
Simply by using the PG (Propylene glycol) percentage written on the bottle
Example (don't mind the VG, we will see this in the next step):
25% PG / 75% VG
You can usually find eJuices with 50% PG, or 75% PG.
The more PG, the more throat hit. But you get less vapor clouds.

What's VG?
The VG (vegetable glycerin) is used to make big / thick vapor clouds and adds some sweetness to the flavor.

So if you have more VG percentage compared to the PG percentage (the one for the throat hit), you will get big vapor clouds but a little to no throat hit.
The best way to start vaping would be choosing a 50/50 VG and PG eLiquid. So you will get moderate vapor clouds, and a moderate throat hit.

Because, unlike the regular cigarettes, the prices can have HUGE differences depending the bottle size, and if it's from an online shop or a real shop, and if it's ready-to-vape or DIY juice.
The simplest way to compare the prices is to calculate the price per 10ml (the small bottle) or per liter.
Here is a little summary of price differences:
🏠 Street store, small bottles ► Expensive (but practical when you need juice fast, no delivery waiting & can pay with cash)
🏪 Online store, small bottle ► Slightly less expensive
🏠🏪 Street-Online store, bigger bottles (60-120ml) ► Less expensive
🏠 Street store, DIY ► Cheap
🏪 Online store, DIY ► Cheapest of all
So 🏪 online stores are cheaper in general, but 🏠 street stores - vape shops can be useful when you need some eJuice quickly, and if you're a e-cigarette beginner, you can get some advice from the shop IRL
Once you calculate the price per 10ml or per liter, you can see that the prices can be up to 5 times different.
So, for a beginner, i would suggest to try the flavors, VG/PG ratios and nicotine levels with small bottles then buying bigger bottles for cheaper prices, and why not some DIY kits (where you just have to mix the ingredients - no quantities calculations needed)
