Open your photo in GIMP
Use Cartoon filter
Enter values
Posterize photo
Enter value
Make the poster more colorful
Drag saturation cursor to the right
Get the GTA V logo
Import logo in gimp
Move logo
There are lot of different techniques to transform a real photo into a GTA V poster. Here I will show you one of the most simple methods. You doesn't need to draw anything. We will just use a filter along with simple color improvements.

Filethen
Open...to open a photo of yourself or a friend.

Artistic>
Cartoon...

Mask radius

Hue-Saturationso we can change colors saturation level.

2. Save image on your computer (right click > Save image as...)
We must save the image on our computer in order to keep transparency. We can't just copy it or drag/drop it in gimp, transparency would be lost

Filethen
Open as Layers...

Click "Move" tool.2
Drag and drop the logo layer.
Now you can export your poster as a JPEG picture (
Filethen
Export as...)
